On December 10, 2019, Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski received the Amicus Oeconomiae award from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz for his special contribution to the promotion of the Polish economy and support for Polish business on foreign markets.
The justification of the award says, among others, about effective support of the Ambassador and the Embassy for the Polish companies implementing contracts in the field of food security in Tanzania on the basis of a credit granted by the government of the Republic of Poland, as well as assistance that facilitated the effective start of entrepreneurs seeking their opportunities on the Tanzanian and Rwandan markets in the water, medical and mining sectors.
The ceremony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gathered over 200 guests and was an opportunity to exchange views and discuss future cooperation between the private and government sectors represented by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Development of the Republic of Poland. It was also an opportunity to present the opportunities that are currently opening up for Polish business on the Tanzanian market and other East African markets.
