During the celebrations, an exhibition on the 80th anniversary of the arrival of Polish war exiles to Tanganyika was presented. They found refuge in Africa after escaping in 1942 from the "inhuman land" of the Soviet Union. The exhibition was prepared for the Embassy by the Center for the Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions and Resettlements of the Pedagogical University in Krakow. Additionally, we also showed an exhibition of photos about Poland's support for Ukraine after the Russian aggression.

Ambassador Buzalski also conveyed his own wishes to the gathered Poles and Tanzanian graduates of Polish universities and encouraged them to maintain ongoing contact with the Embassy.

The meeting was also an opportunity to taste traditional Polish dishes, which we prepared ourselves, to the sounds of Polish and international music.
