Concert of Polish, Tanzanian and Malawian artists during the III edition of the Pamoja Zanzibar Festival

The III edition of the Pamoja Zanzibar Festival took place on December 8-10, 2023, during which three concerts were organized by Radek Bond Bednarz, this year with the participation of the famous Tanzanian music family Zawose and the Malawian artist NyaGo, with the support of our Embassy.
The current III edition of the Pamoja Zanzibar Festival focused on the traditional music of the Tanzanian Gogo tribe, represented by the well-known and award-winning Zawose family: Sinaubi Zawose and Lucas Ubi Zawose and Ally Lumbi, as well as the Malawian tradition of Vimbuza healing music, interwoven with elements of jazz, soul, ethno and African folk music performed by the extremely talented artist NyaGo.
The opening concert of the festival took place on December 8 at the Goethe Institute in Dar es Salaam (with the participation of Embassy representatives, local audience and representatives of the diplomatic corps), and on December 9 and 10 in Zanzibar: first in Stone Town during the Polish diaspora event with the Consul Wojciech Łysak and then for a wider local audience in Fumba Town.
