Inauguration of the Polish-Ukrainian exhibition "Mom, I don't want war!"

On September 14, 2022, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam inaugurated at Alliance Française an exhibition entitled “Mom, I don't want war! 1939-45 Poland/2022 Ukraine”, attended by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine and numerous guests.

The exhibition was prepared by the Polish State Archives and the Ukrainian portal "Mom, I see War / NFT" and presents historical drawings of Polish children from 1946, which are a record of their experiences during World War II, and contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children related to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The event was attended by the our Embassy staff including Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski, representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy in Nairobi, who came to Tanzania especially for this occasion, and the Ukrainian diaspora in Dar es Salaam, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and Tanzanians.

The exhibition will be on display in AF for 10 days and will last until September 23.
