Independence Day celebrations in Tanzania

Polish history and Poland's economic success, as well as the implementation of joint Polish-Tanzanian projects in the agriculture and water sectors were the main topics of the speech of Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski during the celebration of the 101st anniversary of regaining independence organized by the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam.

The gala reception with traditional Polish cuisine gathered numerous guests, including Tanzanian governmental circles, the diplomatic corps, the Polish diaspora and graduates of Polish universities. Ambassador Buzalski gave a speech in Polish and English, as well as in the local Swahili language, which was met with great recognition of the gathered guests.

The event was also an opportunity to present a photo exhibition of Małgorzata Zduńczyk devoted to the activities of Polish development assistance in East Africa, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the concert of Radek "Bond" Bednarz - Polish composer and producer, founder of the international artistic platform and the Eklektik Session Festival, winner of the Wrocław Music Award 2015.
