Meeting with Polish community in Zanzibar

For the third time in a row, the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam has organized a gathering for the Polish community in Stone Town on December 5, 2019.
Having previously experienced the music concerts performed by Mr. Grzegorz Niemczuk, Mr. Piotr Damasiewicz, and Mrs. Ann Kostrzewska, as well as following the screening of the film The Cold War organized in the prior years, this time the Embassy had the opportunity to host in Tanzania a well-known Polish actor, Mr. Artur Barciś. It was preceded by a speech of Ambassador of Poland Krzysztof Buzalski addressed at the Polish community in Zanzibar.
The evening of poetry by Agnieszka Osiecka and Wojciech Młynarski recited by Mr. Artur Barciś was an interesting form of immersion in the Polish culture. Mr. Barciś in a very skillful manner, was able to engage a large audience in an active participation in the show prepared for this special event.
The meeting, organized by the Polish Consul in Tanzania Grzegorz Kacprzyński, has provided an opportunity for discussions and mutual exchange of professional experience, as well as deepen the acquaintance of newly arrived Poles, with those residing in Zanzibar for many years now.
