During the ceremony, visitors could view an inspiring exhibition “Outstanding Polish Women” dedicated to outstanding Polish women whose achievements have had a huge impact on the civilizational and cultural development of not only Poland but also the entire world, contributing to progress in the fields of science, culture, art and politics.

Katarzyna Sobiecka, the head of the Embassy, conveyed her best wishes to the gathered Poles, emphasizing their significant contribution to the development of Polish-Tanzanian relations. She expressed her gratitude for their constant activity, which strengthens the ties between the two countries and is an extremely important element in building a positive image of Poland in Tanzania.

The reception was also an excellent opportunity to integrate the local Polish community and establish new contacts. The guests had the opportunity to try traditional Polish dishes prepared especially for the occasion. The ceremony was accompanied by Polish and international music, which additionally emphasized the atmosphere of the meeting and created an atmosphere conducive to conversations and joint celebration of this important holiday.
