We celebrated the Independence Day

During the festive reception on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of regaining independence organized in the gardens of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam, Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski read a letter from Minister Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk with wishes for the Polish diaspora in the world and recalled the history of regaining independence.
Ambassador Buzalski also conveyed his own wishes to the gathered Poles and encouraged them to maintain ongoing contact with the Embassy. He also recalled two other important anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pope John Paul II, on the occasion of which the exhibition "John Paul II - the Pope of Dialogue" was presented, and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the August Agreements and the establishment of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union "Solidarity".
The reception was also an opportunity to taste traditional Polish cuisine to the sounds of contemporary Polish music.
