Additional funding (increase of the grant rate) for projects located in a flooded area implemented under the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme
18.10.2024
The Programme Operator, based on the recommendation of the Cooperation Committee, informs about the possibility of increasing the level of co-financing for completed projects that are located in a disaster area.
The call for applications applies to Beneficiaries of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme who:
- have implemented a project,
- suffered ‘flood’ losses in the material scope of the implemented project.
The possibility of additional funding applies to the following calls:
- The implementation of green and blue infrastructure in cities;
- Ecosystem management plans implemented;
- Increased protection against invasive alien species;
- Activities related to the protection of the environment and ecosystems carried out by the NGOs.
The increased co-financing level of a project can be up to 95% of the project's eligible costs. The level (percentage) of increase in co-financing will be determined for each project individually, according to the declared post-flood state of the project by the Beneficiary, and so that the rule of no duplication of funding is maintained.
The call for applications lasts until 31 October 2024.
