Comprehensive thermal modernization of the buildings of the Primary School in Bukwałd and the Primary School in Spręcowo
The Minister of Climate and Environment with the support of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management as the Operator of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme informs of the conclusion of an agreement for co-financing “Comprehensive thermal modernization of the buildings of the Primary School in Bukwałd and the Primary School in Spręcowo” project.
The beneficiary of the project is the Dywity Commune.
About the project
The project received funding in the call for proposals Improvement of energy efficiency in school buildings under the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme, in the area of Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security.
It is financed in 70% from the funds of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme, of which 85% comes from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) and 15% from the state budget.
The total cost of the project is PLN 3,597,867.42 (EUR 833,630.86), and the grant awarded is PLN 2,518,507.19 (EUR 583,541.60).
The aim of the project is to improve energy efficiency in school buildings by supporting comprehensive investment activities consisting in deep thermal modernization and undertaken to bring school buildings to the "passive" or "almost zero-emission" energy standard.
The project includes a comprehensive modernization of hot water installation, adaptation of the installation to heat pump, installation of thermostatic valves, installation of underfloor heating. External walls, walls below the ground, plinth walls, attic floors and a pitched roof will be insulated. Window and door joinery will be replaced, and ventilation with heat recovery will be installed. On the roofs of the school building in Bukwałd, PV panels with a minimum power of 44.22 kWp will be installed, while the roofs of the school and sports hall in Spręcowo will be covered with panels with a minimum power of 49.83 kWp.
Project effects
The effects of thermal modernization works will be a reduction in CO2 emissions, reduction of primary energy consumption, an increase in the share of RES and an increase in public awareness of energy efficiency while maintaining the highest energy and cost efficiency.
Implementation period
The contract for co-financing the project was concluded on July 26, 2022, and the planned completion date is April 30, 2024.
