Termomodernisation of the school building
As part of the modernization process, various upgrades will be made to the building's heating and energy systems. These will include replacing old pipes and radiators, installing new insulation, an air-source heat pump, a peak-peak condensing boiler, and an energy management system. These changes will significantly enhance the energy efficiency of the building, resulting in much lower heating costs. Solar panels will be installed. The building of the school and gymnasium will be insulated, external doors and windows will be replaced and energy-efficient lighting installed.
An important effect of the project is to improve public awareness of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
Project effects
As a result of the project, the demand for fossil fuels, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and energy consumption from non-renewable sources will decrease.
Partnership
The project will be implemented with a partner from the Donor State, the company Norsk Energi. The partner will provide substantive support to the Municipality in the area of energy efficiency.
Implementation period
The project co-financing agreement was concluded in September 2022, and the planned completion date is December 2023.
