The scope of the two projects is as follows:

• Services provided by main types of ecosystems in Poland – An Applied Approach. The project is realised by the Department of Integrated Geography, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in partnership with Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA).Total cost of the project is € 1,752,940
• Strengthening of atmospheric deposition assessment in Poland based on Norwegian experience. The project is realised by Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection in partnership with Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU). Total cost of the projects is € 2,000,000

Both projects are two out of three predefined projects included in the Programme Agreement in the “Energy, Environment and Climate Change” Programme.

The Project Agreement for the third predefined project - "Capacity Building of Key Stakeholders in the Area of Geothermal Energy" realised by the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences with National Energy of Iceland (NEA) with the total cost of € 900,000 -  is supposed to be signed by the end of 2020.
