Grant increase for projects from Development of high-efficiency industrial and professional cogeneration call financed by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget
Operator of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme informs about grant increase up to requested amounts in case of projects from the main list within the call Development of high-efficiency industrial and professional cogeneration.
Within the call savings that have occurred amount to over PLN 35.2 million, i.e. over EUR 8.1 million. Those funds pursuant to the Competition Rules as well as the Selection Committee’s recommendation and Programme Operator’s decision from 13th of October, 2021, were shifted for grant increase (up to initially requested level) in case of projects from sixth position of the main list. Remaining savings can be used after the Selection Committee’s recommendation and a separate PO’s approval.
As a result of the available funds shift, it was possible to increase grant up to amounts that result from approved applications in case of following projects:
- Construction of a cogeneration gas source at Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze Bolesław S.A. (Applicant: Mining and metallurgical plants „Bolesław” joint-stock company)
- Construction of a cogeneration unit (Applicant: Imperial Tobacco Polska joint-stock company)
- Construction of high-efficiency gas fired cogeneration units in order to safeguard heat supplies for Rybnik inhabitants (Applicant: PGNiG TERMIKA Energetyka Przemysłowa joint-stock company)
- Construction of a cogeneration unit in Starogard Gdański (Applicant: GPEC STAROGARD Ltd.)
