Modernization of the Gymnasium in the Complex of Natural and Technical Schools of the Continuing Education Center in Bojanów and the Gymnasium in the Vocational School Complex in Rawicz
The Minister of Climate and Environment with the support of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management as the Operator of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme informs of the conclusion of an agreement for co-financing Modernization of the Gymnasium in the Complex of Natural and Technical Schools of the Continuing Education Center in Bojanów and the Gymnasium in the Vocational School Complex in Rawicz project.
The beneficiary of the project is the Rawicki County.
About the project
The project received funding in the call for proposals Improvement energy efficiency in school buildings under the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Program, in the area of Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security.
It is financed in 70% from the funds of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme, of which 85% comes from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) and 15% from the state budget.
The total cost of the project is PLN 3.5 mln (EUR 0.8 mln), and the grant awarded is PLN 2.5 mln (EUR 0.6 mln).
Aim of the project
The aim of the project is to carry out deep thermal modernization of school buildings of the Life Sciences and Technology School Complex in Bojanów and the gymnasium of the Vocational School Complex in Rawicz, which will lead to the "passive" or "zero-emission" energy standard in these buildings.
These buildings will undergo deep thermal modernization. Renewable energy sources (RES) will be installed. The central heating installation will be modernized, roof, ceiling and external walls of the building and floors insulated. Mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation will be installed. Doors, windows and lighting will be replaced.
Project effects
After the project implementation, the energy efficiency of buildings will improve. The demand for non-renewable fuels and energy will decrease, so will the operating costs and air pollution.
Implementation period
The project co-financing agreement was concluded on December 7, 2021 and the planned completion date is 31 December, 2023.
