New website of Polish National Parks
29.04.2024
Poland's 23 national parks have a new face. Their business cards include modern websites and the so-called Main Gate of the Polish National Parks, a website showing the natural and cultural heritage of these most valuable areas.
• The new websites pf the National Parks have been unified and are responsive.
• Among other things, they make it easier to buy tickets or get involved in volunteering.
• The whole is tied together by the Gate of the Parks, a website promoting all the most valuable areas in Poland https://ppn.gov.pl
Gate of the Parks
The Polish National Parks brand has gained a new showcase, which includes engaging descriptions of places worth visiting, natural curiosities, news from the parks and a calendar of events.
I am confident in comparing Poland's National Parks to jewels in the crown. We want to show these places to Poles and the whole world. We want to promote, support and develop them. We want knowledge of nature conservation to grow in Poland because this conservation has positive consequences for both the environment and our health
– says Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Mikołaj Dorożała, Chief Conservator of Nature, and the main task of the Gate of the Polish National Parks is precisely related to promoting these most valuable areas of our country.
Now all information about the 23 Polish National Parks can be found in one place.
A new face
The new websites of the National Parks have been unified and customised to meet user needs. Like the Gate of the Parks, the new websites are available in desktop and mobile versions, so they can be used at any time and from any device.
The service makes it easier to purchase tickets online, engage in volunteer work, deal with various issues such as permits or research approvals, and buy souvenirs and publications.
The new websites of the Parks also provide detailed descriptions of hiking and nature trails to help you better plan your visit. From the information on the website, you can find out the length of a given trail, the time it takes to walk up and down the trail, which is a key element especially for mountain trails. You can verify whether a trail is accessible for both wheelchairs and prams and the surface type.
