The support amounting to more than PLN 4 billion will be provided to nearly 7 million of households. 22.12.2021The Act on compensation for communes in connection with the changed scope of taxation of wind farms has been adoptedOn 17 December, the Senate of the Republic of Poland adopted the Act on compensation for income lost by communes in 2018 in connection with the changed scope of taxation of wind farms, as submitted by the Minister of Climate and Environment. According to it, compensation will be paid to communes in 2022 based on an application submitted, as attached to the Act. The document will be submitted to the President of the Republic of Poland for signature.

16.12.2021The Agreement on cooperation for the development of photovoltaic sector signedOn 16 December 2021, the representatives of governmental administration and the stakeholders of the solar energy sector in Poland signed the Agreement on cooperation for the development of photovoltaic sector. The purpose of this initiative is to support development of the sector and maximise the share of the domestic photovoltaic device industry in the supply chain. The event was attended by the Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Francesco La Camera.
