22.12.2020President signed an amendment to the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in MunicipalitiesUnder the so-called “Cleanliness Plus” Programme, works have been launched on a draft amendment to the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities. In order to facilitate implementation of some of the amendments later this year, they are divided into two draft laws. The amendment to the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities, signed by the President of Poland on 21 December 2020, contains the first part of the most urgent changes in waste management.

25.11.2020Poland takes over the chairmanship of the Carpathian Convention“Efforts to have the European Union accede to the Convention, as well as strengthening regional and local cooperation are the main priorities of the Polish Presidency in the Carpathian Convention,” said Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński, during the 6th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Carpathian Convention (COP6), which took place on 25 November 2020. Poland will chair the Convention for the next three years.
