Partnership possibilities within “Environment, Energy, Climate Change” Programme in III Edition of the EEA and Norway Grants
14.09.2020
Every call in the “Environment, Energy, Climate Change” offers the possibility to implement a project with a partner from the Donor States (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein). Such partnership is a chance to share experience and knowledge with foreign partner. Moreover, it also gives extra points during project assessment.
There are many ways to find a foreign institution interested in cooperation and initiate partnership talks. There is a special list of foreign institutions interested in partnership published on the website of the Ministry of Climate and National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. It is one of the activities carried out by the Programme Operator aiming at facilitating the partnership projects for Polish stakeholders.
In order to find more about the partnership rules we do recommend to visit the site “Information for Beneficiaries” and “Partnership Guide” (in Polish).
According to the article 7.2.2 of the Regulation on the implementation of the both Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and EEA Financial Mechanism any public or private entity, commercial or non-commercial, as well as non-governmental organisations established as a legal person either in one of the Donor States, the Beneficiary States or a country outside the European Economic Area that has a common border with the respective Beneficiary State, or any international organisation or body or agency thereof, actively involved in, and effectively contributing to, the implementation of a project, are considered eligible project partners.
