As stressed by the Minister of Climate Michał Kurtyka, the comprehensive support will help, among others, to improve the quality of air, reduce CO2 emissions as well as to reduce the noise levels, energy and petrol consumption in transport.

The current COVID-19 epidemic requires us to start searching for solutions which will help to stimulate the economy. Our ambition is to ensure that the economic recovery creates new ways for development and growth, green growth, and that is why we offer such great support for the development of electromobility. We estimate that the total impact of our new programmes on the Polish economy amounts to approximately PLN 700 million - said the Minister of Climate Michał Kurtyka.

It is worth to note that the “Green Car”, “eVan” and “Hummingbird” are components of a larger Green Investment Scheme, under which a total budget for funding available in 2020 amounts to PLN 7.8 billion, and the total impact of these programmes on the economy amounts to over PLN 22 billion.

At the Ministry of Climate, we wish to create conditions and various incentives to stimulate an even faster growth of that area, which is why, among others, we have developed facilitations in terms of providing financial support for the purchase of electric vehicles by individual customers as well as businesses - stressed the Deputy Minister of Climate Ireneusz Zyska.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will provide the largest co-financing for the purchase of electric goods vehicles (up to PLN 70 thousand) and taxis (up to PLN 25 thousand), which will bring the largest environmental effect, as these cars have the largest annual mileage. On Friday, June 26th, the National Fund will launch the call for proposals from entrepreneurs and individuals which must be lodged by electronic means - announced the Vice President of The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water, Artur Lorkowski.
