Updating of the ranking list in the call for cogeneration
14.02.2022
Operator of the Programme Environment, Energy and Climate Change informs about the extension of the main list of projects selected under the call Development of high-efficiency industrial and professional cogeneration.
Due to savings in the call for proposals Development of high-efficiency industrial and professional cogeneration (over 39 million PLN, i.e. over 9 million EUR) the Programme Operator, after consulting the Project Selection Committee, decided to extend the list of projects to be financed. As the available funds were not sufficient to support all the projects that obtained 86 points, the Committee at the meeting on 18 January 2021 recommended their prioritisation based on the number of points obtained in criterion no. 5 Reduction of primary energy consumption as a result of the investment. The Programme Operator accepted this way of proceeding.
Thanks to the updated list, it is possible to sign agreements on co-financing for the implementation of two additional projects:
- Construction of a cogeneration system based on three gas engines with a total power of 10 Mwe (no. 1173/2020, Applicant: Energetyka Cieszyńska Ltd.) n the full amount of the requested co-financing,
- Support for environmental protection by Firma Oponiarska Dębica S.A. through investment in high-efficiency cogeneration sources (no. 1214/2020, Applicant: Tire Company Dębica Joint-stock company) partial funding of the project.
The initial date of expenditure eligibility for all projects on the list (including the following two, by which the basic list was extended) is 13th October 2021. - date of the Operator's decision on awarding a grant.
The information on the extension of the basic list, signed by Mr. Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, is available below.
