We announce a call for applications under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 to strengthen the Circular Economy

The Minister of Climate, as the Operator of the “Environment, Energy and Climate Change” Programme announces a call for the thematic area Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (EEA Grants).

The aim of the call for proposals for “Strengthened implementation of Circular Economy” is to support effective functioning of economy, society and environment by implementing projects related to broadly understood Circular Economy. Within the call for proposals it is possible in particular to carry out activities related to sustainable industrial production, sustainable consumption and bio-economy supported by educational and awareness measures related to the Circular.

The minimum amount of project co-financing is EUR 300 000, of which the grant rate of the requested co-financing shall be up to 85% of eligible expenditures.

Project concept notes can be submitted from 22 June in an electronic form via the Grant Application Generator available on the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management website.
