This means that the unemployment rate in our country is at the same level as in the corresponding period of last year and is still significantly below the EU average.

01.09.2020Unemployment benefit increasesFrom September 1, the unemployment benefit increases. In the first 90 days, it will amount to 1,200 Polish zlotys and afterwards, in the remaining period of entitlement to unemployment benefit, it will reflect 942.30 zlotys. All the unemployed will receive higher benefits.

The programme will be financed under the Solidarity Fund in the amount of PLN 100 million.

The changes aim to, for instance, implement and apply procedures to ensure protection against infectious diseases at social welfare homes.

07.08.2020Millions in Support of Social and Professional Rehabilitation in a Fight Against COVID-19The agreement with the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled People for the implementation of the “Safe Occupational Therapy Workshops and the Social and Occupational Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities” was signed in the office of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy on Friday, August 7th The main objective of the project was to ensure the protection of the health and life of the participants of the classes conducted by the Occupational Therapy Workshops within the scope of the tasks commissioned by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People.

05.08.2020500+ Helps to Organise Dream HolidaysSince the beginning of the “Family 500+” programme, i.e. since April 2016, over PLN 114.4 billion has been allocated to Polish families until the end of June this year. Currently, 6.5 billion children are covered by the support. The care allowance makes it possible for families to meet their needs, such as, for instance, summer holiday trips. – Due to the care allowance, we were able to spend the summer holidays by the sea together with our entire family - says Elżbieta Jarosz, a mother of three.
