Another meeting between Minister Mariusz Kamiński and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya

On Monday, 3 October, Minister Mariusz Kaminski met with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the leader of the democratic opposition in Belarus. Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki and Artur Michalski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Belarus, also participated in the conversation.
That was another meeting between the Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the leader of the Belarusian democratic opposition. During the conversation, Minister Mariusz Kamiński ensured that Poland continued to support and appreciate the activities of the Belarusian opposition, particularly the interim cabinet appointed in August 2022 and headed by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
The Polish side also reported on changes to Polish legislation introduced after consultations with representatives of the Belarusian opposition. That was postulated during the previous meeting. They also discussed the current security situation in Poland and Belarus related to Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Apart from Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the Belarusian delegation included Valery Kavaleuski, Cabinet Plenipotentiary for Foreign Affairs, and Pavel Latushka, Cabinet Plenipotentiary for Transfer of Power.
