Applications and documents for administrative procedures conducted by the Department for Permits and Licenses may be submitted in person to the Registry Office of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration – ul. Rakowiecka 2a from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or sent by post to the following address: ul. Stefana Batorego 5, 02-591 Warsaw.

Requests from diplomatic representations of foreign countries in Poland should follow the Diplomatic Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Information concerning ongoing administrative proceedings will be provided to the parties to proceedings or their attorneys, after giving the case number, by calling:

We kindly inform you that the Minister of the Interior and Administration takes a binding position on the issue of the requirement or lack thereof for a given entity to hold a permit to acquire real estate, stocks and shares only by means of an administrative decision – one issued after appropriate administrative proceedings are carried out for issuance of a permit to purchase real estate, shares and stocks initiated at the request of a foreigner and based on the evidence gathered in the course of such proceedings.
