We are open to all your important issues. We are here to support you and help you. We want to show you solidarity at every level

said Minister Mariusz Kamiński to representatives of Ukrainian firefighters.

Immediately after the outbreak of the war, our services launched a wave of assistance. The Fire Brigade, the Police and Border Guard supported the Ukrainian fraternal services. The aid will continue

the Minister added.

The three-day meeting in Warsaw is a continuation of the talks in Kyiv and Lviv held in July this year. Then a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and support for Ukraine's emergency services in the face of ongoing hostilities was signed.

During today's meeting, among others, issues of assistance to Ukraine provided so far by Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were discussed.

We want to tighten our cooperation in these difficult times. That is why today we are signing a statement supporting Ukraine in its aspiration to join the EU Civil Protection Mechanism

stressed the Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service.

The Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration noted that the services and Ministries of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia would be ambassadors for Ukraine in that regard.

We fully understand what is happening in Ukraine. We are with you wholeheartedly and will support you consistently and constantly. Thank you very much for your visit, and once again, I assure you of our support and solidarity

he said.

In the following days, representatives of the emergency services of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will visit, among others, the Main School of Fire Service and Polish rescue and firefighting units.
