On 5 September, a meeting of heads of emergency services from Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, attended by the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, was held at the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service. Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin, and Brigadier General Andrzej Bartkowiak, Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service, were also present.

said Minister Mariusz Kamiński to representatives of Ukrainian firefighters.
Immediately after the outbreak of the war, our services launched a wave of assistance. The Fire Brigade, the Police and Border Guard supported the Ukrainian fraternal services. The aid will continue

The three-day meeting in Warsaw is a continuation of the talks in Kyiv and Lviv held in July this year. Then a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and support for Ukraine's emergency services in the face of ongoing hostilities was signed.
During today's meeting, among others, issues of assistance to Ukraine provided so far by Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were discussed.
We want to tighten our cooperation in these difficult times. That is why today we are signing a statement supporting Ukraine in its aspiration to join the EU Civil Protection Mechanism

The Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration noted that the services and Ministries of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia would be ambassadors for Ukraine in that regard.

In the following days, representatives of the emergency services of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will visit, among others, the Main School of Fire Service and Polish rescue and firefighting units.
