In the face of recent events resulting in increased migratory pressure on the southern border of Spain, which is at the same time the external border of the European Union, Minister Mariusz Kamiński offered assurances about the full support and solidarity of Poland with the authorities in Madrid.

In his letter addressed to the Spanish Minister of Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gómez, Minister Mariusz Kamiński declared willingness to deploy border and police officers to support the Spanish authorities in restoring security and counteracting the further escalation of migratory pressure across the Spanish and Community borders.
