Consular Information Centre (CIK)
The Consular Information Centre in Warsaw is available to provide general advice on the following topics:
- passport matters,
- lost Polish documents (e.g., passports, Polish ID cards, etc.),
- Polish citizenship issues,
- general legal and civil status matters.
IMPORTANT! The Consular Information Centre in Warsaw does not handle visa-related inquiries. Please contact the Visa Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London directly at london.visa@msz.gov.pl. The emergency telephone number
The emergency phone line for the Consul on Duty is available only outside of office hours, including weekends, and on British and Polish public holidays.
Please contact the Consul on Duty only in genuine emergencies, such as incidents or the death of Polish citizens within our consular district. The emergency phone line is not intended for inquiries about office hours, appointment bookings, or matters related to passports, legal issues, or visas. Kindly refrain from using the emergency line for these purposes.
It is not possible to report the loss or damage of ID documents (such as national ID cards or passports) via this phone number. To report lost or damaged ID documents, please refer to the sections titled Reporting a lost passport or temporary passport or Reporting lost or damaged Polish ID card for further instructions.
