The Secretary of State, Ryszard Bartosik attended a high-level meeting of CCAMLR Member States on the designation of marine protected areas in the Southern Ocean.

An informal video conference of EU Ministers of Agriculture took place on April 26, 2021. The Polish delegation was led Ryszard Bartosik – the Secretary of State. The Ministers discussed the situation on agricultural markets, the CAP, animal welfare and trade policy.

Minister Grzegorz Puda yesterday held discussions with George Eustice - the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (the UK equivalent of the Minister) on the quality of food produced in Poland. Minister Puda provided the British part with information on the measures implemented by Poland to ensure the highest quality and safety of Polish poultry products in the context of past Salmonella outbreaks in Polish poultry meat. The meeting was held in a remote formula.

Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Grzegorz Puda hosted a meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the Visegrad Group countries in the format extended to the countries of the region, i.e. Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia (GV4+4).

Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development Grzegorz Puda participated in a meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council (AGRIFISH), which was held on 22–23 March 2021 in Brussels.

Today, Minister Grzegorz Puda met the Portuguese Minister of Agriculture Maria do Céu Antunes, who, from 1 January to 30 June 2021, chairs the EU Agriculture Council.

Minister Grzegorz Puda participated today in another trilogue meeting with the Minister of Food and Agriculture of the Federal Republic of Germany Julia Klöckner and the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman. The talks were also attended by the Chief Veterinary Officers of the three countries. The meeting was held in an online formula.

The Secretary of State, Szymon Giżyński, opened today, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, an on-line meeting inaugurating School Dating 2021. Representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture of Poland and France participated in the meeting consisting of an exchange of mutual experiences in agricultural education. The French Ministry of Agriculture was represented by the Head of the Office for European and International Cooperation of DGER, Philippe Renard.

On 11 February 2021, Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Grzegorz Puda, met the Ambassador of the French Republic to Poland Frédéric Billet. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the current status and prospects of Polish-French co operation at the political and expert level.
