The Operator of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme, financed by the EEA FM 2014-2021 and the state budget, continues activities aimed at utilizing savings in the energy area of the Programme.

Taking into account the recommendations of the Cooperation Committee regarding the use of savings in the Programme to co-finance subsequent projects from the reserve list of the call for proposals for Improvement of energy efficiency in school buildings, the PO decided to extend the ranking list by another 8 projects:

• Polkowice District: Thermomodernization of the school complex in Chocianów - stage 2;
• Poznań Archdiocese: Improving energy efficiency and increasing public awareness through the implementation of comprehensive thermo-modernization and educational activities in two school buildings in Poznań;
• Złotoryja District: Improving energy efficiency in school buildings of the Złotoryja District;
• Gorzyce Municipality: Thermomodernization of educational buildings in the Gorzyce Commune;
• Dzierżoniów District: Thermomodernization of the school buildings in Dzierżoniów District – IV stage;
• Myślenice Municipality: Thermomodernization of school buildings with the use of renewable energy sources in the City of Myslenice and Myslenice Commune;
• The Agricultural Education Center Schools Complex in Dobrocin: Improving the energy efficiency of school buildings of the School Complex of the Agricultural Training Center in Dobrocin;
• City of Żory: Comprehensive activities to improve energy efficiency of the buildings in Primary School No. 4 and Technical School No. 1 in Żory.

The starting date of expenditure eligibility for all projects on the list (including the 8 by which the primary list is extended) is 13th October 2021 - the date of the Operator's decision to award the grant.

In addition, the ranking list was updated following the decisions taken by the PO to increase the amount of co-financing for 8 projects that submitted applications for increases and were assessed as part of the procedure of increasing co-financing due to a significant increase in prices. These are:

• Kozienice Municipality: Deep thermomodernization of the building of the Public Primary School No. 3 in Kozienice;
• Bochnia Municipality: Thermomodernization of the school buildings of Gmina Bochnia;
• Policki District: Improving energy efficiency in school buildings in the Police Poviat.;
• Kobylnica Municipality: Improvement of energy efficiency in the Municipality of the Kobylnica by means of thermal modernization of four buildings of the Primary School in Kobylnica;
• Rogoźno Municipality: Comprehensive thermal efficiency improvement of primary school buildings in the Rogoźno Commune;
• Maków Podhalański Municipality: Comprehensive improvement of the energy efficiency of the six primary school buildings in the Maków Podhalański.;
• Zagrodno Municipality: Comprehensive thermal modernization of the building of the Primary School in Zagrodno;
• Mucharz Municipality: Thermomodernization of the Pope John Paul II Primary School no. 238, on plots no. 782/66 and 782/21, along with the replacement of internal lighting fittings, replacement of the heat source with a gas boiler with a heat pump, replacement of heaters, installation of a photovoltaic installation.
