16.12.2021Ordinance of the Minister of Climate and Environment on template reports on the implementation of the plan of material and service supply chain signedOn 15 December 2021, the Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskwa, signed the Ordinance on template reports on the implementation of the plan of material and service supply chain. The template report will be used by the producers implementing the designs of the offshore wind farms in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone within the first and second stage of the support scheme.

15.12.2021Christmas trees for blood donors from the State ForestsOn Wednesday, 15 December, the conference inaugurating the “Christmas tree for life” action was held. Tomorrow, on 16 December, all are invited to donate blood in more than 40 sites in Poland. Those who will share their gift of life will be endowed with living Christmas trees by the foresters.

13.12.2021Deputy Minister Dziadzio about discovering the unique fossils in MazoviaThe perfectly preserved dinosaur fossils have been discovered in the open pit mine in Borkowice in the Przysucha District in Mazovia by the team of the Polish scientists from the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute and the Uppsala University. The press conference presenting this discovery held on 13 December 2021 in Warsaw was attended by Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Chief National Geologist, Piotr Dziadzio.

10.12.2021PGE Energia Ciepła and KOGENERACJA have signed agreements with National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management to co-finance investment projects in Siechnice and ZgierzThe Management Board of PGE Energia Ciepła and the Wrocław Combined Heat and Power Plant Group KOGENERACJA of the PGE Group, in the presence of Anna Moskwa - the Minister of Climate and Environment, signed three agreements with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) for co-financing the construction of CHP plants in Siechnice and Zgierz. The event took place on 10 December at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The total amount of preferential financing granted is nearly PLN 352 million.

09.12.2021Deputy Minister for Climate and Environment Ireneusz Zyska at the Areopag renewable energy conferenceGovernment Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Ireneusz Zyska participated on 9 December 2021 in the conference "Areopag of Renewable Energy", organised by the Association for Efficiency named after prof. Krzysztof Żmijewski. The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views, as well as to discuss the most current challenges and problems currently faced by the renewable energy sources (RES) industry.

07.12.2021The “Clean hydrogen from RES in Poland” reportThe increased importance of hydrogen from renewable energy sources in the domestic economy is associated with the need to boost production capacity from RES. The core role in this process is attributed to development of wind energy, which will ensure the necessary contribution of power for the purposes of hydrogen economy development. These are only the few issues discussed in the report of the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) and the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies (LSIES) entitled “Clean hydrogen from RES in Poland” premiered on 7 December in the seat of the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

06.12.2021STOP river pollution“We join our forces with the Ministry of Infrastructure, Polish Waters and the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection to hold back the procedure of illegal discharge and pollution of the Polish rivers. We call on the owners of the installations – this is the last chance to legalise the outfalls” – said the Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa. The conference held on 6 December 2021 was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Marek Gróbarczyk, Head of the National Water Management Holding Polish Waters Przemysław Daca and Deputy Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection Michał Mistrzak.
