24.07.2024Strengthening strategic cooperation of Poland and Great Britain- I am thankful for this very good meeting, very good Polish-British relations. For us this i san expression of extraordinary trust, friendship and cooperation. Today the minister was in Paris in the morning, in Berlin at noon and finishes in Warsaw. This shows how important a partner Poland is for Great Britain. This shows how important security and our cooperation are. Our friendship has never been as strong as it is in this moment. I am grateful for this approach to the Polish-British cooperation. The new government emerging after elections in Great Britain unequivocally stated its priorities – deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said aftr the meeting with the defence secretary of Great Britain.

Kosiniak-Kamysz: Poland is mentioned in several places in the decisions of the Summit and this is proof how important a partner we are today.The operational capability of the base in Redzikowo has been confirmed. It becomes not only an American system, but also a NATO one, and the declaration made today and yesterday at the NATO summit reaffirm it. This is one of Poland's successes with regards to this declaration and to the decisions of the Summit. Additionally, there were some very important items concerning Polish border. We promised that we would talk about the internationalization of the Polish border with Belarus as the eastern border of NATO, the European Union, and we did. The strategic documents adopted by the NATO summit include provisions on individual and joint border protection, said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz after the end of the NATO Summit in Washington.

10.07.2024Poland joined the drone coalition during the NATO summit in WashingtonTogether with 12 ministers, at the NATO summit in Washington I signed a memorandum concerning the activities of the drone coalition supporting Ukraine, of which our country is one of participating nations. We will focus on providing the Ukrainian armed forces with various types of drones. This is currently one of the key capabilities that Ukraine urgently needs - said Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz after signing the memorandum on the drone coalition.

20.06.2024K2 tanks will be produced in Poland“We have full confirmation of the will to cooperate and provide all technical information as soon as possible so that Polish armament industry can prepare for the production of K2 tanks in Poland. (…) This is a huge effort of the Polish Armaments Group. All efforts and resources are directed towards commencing the production as soon as possible. We are talking about another executive contract for 180 K2 tanks, which we want to sign during Kielce defence industry exposistion. The goal is for tanks to be produced in Poland starting with current tranche," said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz after the end of Thursday's talks with the South Korean delegation.
