„The unveiling of the first Polish F-35 fighter plane is another milestone in the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces. Modern, excellently equipped, trained and led troops that together with our allies will ensure the safety of our Homeland. I have no doubt that this event happens in a key moment, as the global security situation shifts drastically ever since the Russian agression on Ukraine. We all have to be ready to defend the borders of NATO” – deputy minister Paweł Bejda said during the visit in Fort Worth.

- I am thankful for this very good meeting, very good Polish-British relations. For us this i san expression of extraordinary trust, friendship and cooperation. Today the minister was in Paris in the morning, in Berlin at noon and finishes in Warsaw. This shows how important a partner Poland is for Great Britain. This shows how important security and our cooperation are. Our friendship has never been as strong as it is in this moment. I am grateful for this approach to the Polish-British cooperation. The new government emerging after elections in Great Britain unequivocally stated its priorities – deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said aftr the meeting with the defence secretary of Great Britain. 

The operational capability of the base in Redzikowo has been confirmed. It becomes not only an American system, but also a NATO one, and the declaration made today and yesterday at the NATO summit reaffirm it. This is one of Poland's successes with regards to this declaration and to the decisions of the Summit. Additionally, there were some very important items concerning Polish border. We promised that we would talk about the internationalization of the Polish border with Belarus as the eastern border of NATO, the European Union, and we did. The strategic documents adopted by the NATO summit include provisions on individual and joint border protection, said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz after the end of the NATO Summit in Washington.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister,informed about the most important provisions of the declaration of the North Atlantic Alliance Summit, adopted in Washington.

Together with 12 ministers, at the NATO summit in Washington I signed a memorandum concerning the activities of the drone coalition supporting Ukraine, of which our country is one of participating nations. We will focus on providing the Ukrainian armed forces with various types of drones. This is currently one of the key capabilities that Ukraine urgently needs - said Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz after signing the memorandum on the drone coalition.

Firstly, I would like to state that it is an honor for me to speak to you on the eve of the NATO Summit that will mark the Alliance’s 75-year-old history. I would also like to express my gratitude to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for organizing this important event. Seeing you all here proves that the Alliance is stronger and more united than ever before.  Tonight’s event is a unique opportunity to start a broad discussion between NATO member states and the many organizations present here on the further development of the transatlantic defense industry cooperation.

The Alliance has to reaffirm its unity, it has to reaffirm its strength. Liberty needs strength. We do not live in a time when we can sleep easily. Sadly each day brings horrific scenes like yesterday in Kyiv’s hospital. If someone bombs a hospital, they are capable of anything. And the Alliance has to respond forcefully in such situations. (…) Poland today is a co-host of the Alliance (…) We are also one of those who invest the most in the defence industry and the modernization of the armed forces, but we are also willing to support other countries – said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz before the commencement of the Washington NATO Summit.

We need rapid responses. This is a task that the European Union now takes upon itself to deploy its forces, its troops, wherever they are needed (…). This formed the basis of this community which we have joined 20 years ago. Today Poland takes responsibility for the Battlegroup with its closes allies – Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. I am grateful for this cooperation. This is an expression of responsibility. (…) Poland understands threats to security very well. Poland assumes responsibility, showing that it is one of the leaders of the European Union – deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz said during the ceremony of accepting duty of the European Union Battlegroup by the soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces. The ceremony took place on July 5th, 2024, in Cracow.

Common excercises of the three countries’ armies from 2025, expanding the mobility initiative by France as well as continued, more effective support for Ukraine were the core topics and conclusions of today’s talks between the defence ministers of the Weimar Triangle.

“We have full confirmation of the will to cooperate and provide all technical information as soon as possible so that Polish armament industry can prepare for the production of K2 tanks in Poland. (…) This is a huge effort of the Polish Armaments Group. All efforts and resources are directed towards commencing the production as soon as possible. We are talking about another executive contract for 180 K2 tanks, which we want to sign during Kielce defence industry exposistion. The goal is for tanks to be produced in Poland starting with current tranche," said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz after the end of Thursday's talks with the South Korean delegation.
