To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the declaration of martial law, the Institute of National Remembrance invites you to participate in the social campaign "Victims of martial law. Light the Light of Freedom ”by lighting a candle in the window on December 13 at 7.30pm and expressing solidarity with the victims of martial law.

On December 6, 2021 in Wellington, Ambassador Grzegorz Kowal hosted at the annual Christmas meeting of the presidents and representatives of the Polish organisations from all over New Zealand.

On Sunday, 5 December, at the Polish House in Wellington, a Mikołajki event was held for the Polish children, members of the Orlęta - children's song and dance group, and pupils of the Polish school.

Polish Ambassador Grzegorz Kowal laid flowers at the Katyń Plaque in Wellington to honour the victims of the Massacre and to commemorate Poland's Independence Day.

Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month fellowship programme of the Ministry of Culture National Heritage and Sport of the Republic of Poland. The programme is implemented by the International Cultural Centre in Krakow, the city being a leading Polish academic centre.

On November 3, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Grzegorz Kowal, accompanied by members of the local Polish community, laid flowers on the grave of the late Kazimierz Wodzicki and his wife Maria. November 1 marked the 77th anniversary of the arrival in New Zealand of a group of 733 Polish Children. This year flowers were also laid on the grave of the late Czesław Tomaszyk.
