On Thursday, 6th May, Minister Mariusz Kamiński met with the Minister of the Interior of Slovenia, Aleš Hojs. The talks focused on the priorities of the upcoming Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council in the area of home affairs.

Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki attended on Wednesday (28 April this year) an expert meeting dedicated to border protection. The video conference was attended by representatives of the Visegrad Group countries (V4) and Serbia. It took place within the framework of the Polish presidency in the V4 Group.

The meeting, held on-line, addressed the issues related to, among others, the international exchange of information, cybercrime and illegal migration. G6 has been operating since 2003. It is an informal initiative dedicated to the area of internal security, bringing together the largest EU Member States.

Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki presided over the ministerial conference of the Visegrád Group (V4) on border issues and migration policies. The meeting was held within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the V4.

Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki took part in a joint videoconference of EU interior and foreign ministers held on Monday (15 March) to talk about partnerships with third countries in the sphere of migration.

At the conference, the Ministers discussed the European Commission's proposal regarding a new approach to critical infrastructure protection. As the matter has a significant impact on internal security, it is important to continue the actions taken to increase the critical infrastructure protection capability and the level of protection of services critical to the social, economic and political functioning of the State.

Minister Mariusz Kamiński and Panagiotis Mitarachi – Minister of Migration and Asylum of the Hellenic Republic had an official meeting today (26 February) in the Belweder Palace. The meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki, was held as part of the visit of the Greek delegation to Poland.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad Group, Minister Mariusz Kamiński, addressed a letter to the ministers of the interior of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The videoconference of Coordinators for Polish-German Cross-Border and Regional Cooperation: Bartosz Grodecki, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration and Dietmar Woidke, Minister-President of Brandenburg was held on Monday, 1st February 2021. The German side was also represented by the representatives of the federal ministries of internal affairs, foreign affairs and health, as well as representatives of the federal states of Saxony and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

On 28 January 2021, Mr Mariusz Kamiński, Minister of the Interior and Administration and Mr Bartosz Grodecki, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration met with Mr Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, who came to Warsaw. The subject of the meeting was primarily issues of common interest within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the Visegrad Group, membership in the European Union, as well as on the forum of international organizations.
