11.10.2022Graffiti expressing solidarity with Ukraine on the external wall of Polish Embassy in OsloFor 230 days now, Ukraine has been fighting a heroic war against the barbaric invasion of Russia, struggling to defend its freedom and independence and thus protect the freedom and independence of the entire democratic European community. To express once again our support for the Ukrainian state and society in this tragic times, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo @PLinNorway has cooperated with Ukrainian artist Nikita "Slam". On the exterior wall of the Embassy Nikita has created a graffiti, symbolically reminding us of the atrocities of the ongoing war and expressing Polish-Ukrainian solidarity. 10.10.2022Official opening of 9th edition of Polske Filmdager in FredrikstadThe inauguration of the 9th edition of the Polish Film Days (Polske Filmdager) took place in the foyer of the Fredrikstad cinema on October 9. The festival was launched with the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Bruno Schulz 1892 - 1942" from the collection of the Museum of Literature in Warsaw which was done by Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Kingdom of Norway I. 01.09.202283th anniversary of the outbreak of World War IIOn 1 September 2022, to mark the 83th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, representatives of the Polish Embassy in Oslo: Ambassador Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, Defence Attaché Col Waldemar Torbicki, and Consul Agnieszka Kucińska-Spyrka laid a wreath at the Polish war grave at the Vestre Gravlund cemetery in Oslo to honour Polish soldiers who died during World War II.
