11.07.2023The first foreign institution authorized by the PAA PresidentThe Institute of Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (French: Institut de radioprotection et de sûreté nucléaire - IRSN) became the first foreign entity authorized by the PAA President. The decision on the authorization was handed over by the head of the Polish nuclear regulatory authority, Andrzej Głowacki. The meeting with the French delegation took place on July 11 at the PAA headquarters.

The PAA verified the compliance of the technical assumptions described in the application for a general opinion with Polish nuclear safety requirements contained in the legal acts indicated by the applicant.
