"We should be patient in restoring the rule of law, because 8 years of its destruction cannot be fixed in one day or month. It is a long and demanding process. We will do everything in our power to restore the rule of law in Poland," said Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar in his opening speech at the conference "Meeting the Challenge: World Justice Project Convening on Democracy and the Rule of Law."

"At the current stage of the development of judicial cooperation in civil matters, we should focus primarily on ensuring the proper implementation and uniform application of existing regulations throughout the EU," said Deputy Minister of Justice Bartłomiej Ciążyński during the informal meeting of the EU Council on Justice and Home Affairs in Budapest.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of Mexico in Poland, Juan Sandoval Mendiolea, Minister Adam Bodnar emphasized the value of Polish-Mexican cooperation in criminal matters. Both countries cooperate based on the Council of Europe Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons.

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar met with representatives of the organization Reporters Without Borders on July 11, 2024. The host of the visit was Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Maciej Duszczyk.

They discussed various aspects of mutual cooperation at the national and EU levels, and preparations for the Polish-German intergovernmental consultations scheduled for July 2 in Warsaw.

Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar met on June 25, 2024, with Katja Meier, the Saxon Minister of Justice. An agreement on cooperation between the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution and thSaxon State Ministry of Justice and for Democracy, European Affairs and Equality was signed. The agreement aims to enhance the effectiveness of judicial training and exchange experiences in educating future judges and prosecutors.
