During a press conference on Tuesday, 18 April, Minister Mariusz Kamiński announced that Poland would build a 200-kilometre-long electronic barrier along the Polish-Russian border with the Kaliningrad Oblast. The new project is set to protect the entirety of the land border with the Russian exclave.

On Tuesday, 28 March 2023, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Bartosz Grodecki participated in Polish-Romanian Intergovernmental Consultations held in Bucharest. The Bucharest talks were presided over by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă.

On Monday, 20 March, Minister Mariusz Kamiński visited the Podlaski Border Guard Regional Unit. During his stay at the Unit, the Minister of the Interior and Administration announced the handover of 62 new off-road vehicles to the formation. Deputy Minister Błażej Poboży, Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard, Major General Tomasz Praga and President of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves Michał Kuczmierowski accompanied the Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

Below is a statement by the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Coordinator of Special Services, Mariusz Kamiński, on the detention of persons suspected of collaborating with Russian special services.

On Thursday, 2 March Minister Mariusz Kamiński held talks with Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko in Lviv. The event marked the first meeting of the two counterparts. During the visit, the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs transferred seven police cars to the Lviv Police. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki, Commander in Chief of the Polish Police, General Inspector Jarosław Szymczyk, as well as Commander in Chief of the Polish Border Guard, Maj. Gen. Tomasz Praga.

On 23 and 24 February, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Bartosz Grodecki participated in the 2nd European Conference on Border Management. The meeting occurred in Athens and was jointly organised by Poland, Greece, Lithuania and Austria. This year's discussions focused on effectively protecting the European Union's external borders and countering illegal migration.

Given the restrictions the Belarusian authorities imposed on Polish carriers concerning the possibility of crossing the border at Belarusian-Lithuanian and Belarusian-Latvian border crossings, Minister Mariusz Kamiński has decided to restrict traffic for Belarusian cargo vehicles at the Kukuryki-Kozłowicze border crossing point. The restriction does not apply to passenger traffic at the border crossing in Terespol.

A group of 76 Polish firefighters with 8 rescue dogs, 11 mine rescuers, 5 Humanitarian and Medical Aid Team members and 2 soldiers returned to their country today, 15 February, after eight days of mission in Turkey. The officers of the State Fire Service and the rescuers were welcomed at the Transport Aviation Base in Warsaw by Minister Mariusz Kamiński and Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki. The Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service, Brigadier General Andrzej Bartkowiak, and the Deputy Chief of the National Security Bureau, Brigadier General Mirosław Wiklik, also attended the meeting.

Today, on February 14, the Minister of the Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński met with Nancy Faeser, German Federal Minister of the Interior and Community. Their talks concerned combating migratory pressures and Polish-German police cooperation, among other issues.

On the morning of 6 February, a strong earthquake struck Turkey, resulting in hundreds of people being killed or injured. Minister Mariusz Kamiński offered the support of the Polish Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Unit HUSAR in response to Turkey's appeal for international assistance. The group consists of 76 firefighters from, among others, Łódź, Kraków, Warsaw and Gdańsk, and 8 rescue dogs. Deputy Minister Maciej Wąsik had met with the firefighters before they left for Turkey.
