Issues addressed
The Cardiomatics-CRT project solves a key problem related to the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and, more specifically, the assessment of the effectiveness of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). Conventional methods of ECG analysis are often time-consuming and require high diagnostic competence, which may lead to interpretation errors and delays in treatment.
Cardiomatics-CRT uses advanced machine learning algorithms that enable automatic, fast and precise analysis of ECG signals. Thanks to this, doctors can better monitor patients’ condition and the effectiveness of CRT therapy, adapting the treatment to the individual needs. This system allows for the detection of atrioventricular (AV) blocks and ECG analysis of patients with implanted medical devices, which significantly improves quality of cardiac care.
Thanks to Cardiomatics-CRT, medical facilities can serve a larger number of patients while reducing diagnostic costs. This project contributes to increasing the availability of advanced diagnostic tools, which is crucial in the context of the growing number of patients with heart diseases around the world. Cardiomatics-CRT not only improves the accuracy of diagnoses but also enables quick response to the changing health condition of patients, which is particularly important in situations requiring immediate medical intervention.
To sum up, Cardiomatics-CRT solves the problem of complex and time-consuming cardiac diagnostics, offering an innovative, effective and accessible solution that supports doctors in their daily work, improving quality of care for patients with heart diseases.
Project beneficiaries
The results of the Cardiomatics-CRT project will primarily benefit patients with heart diseases, in particular those requiring cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). Thanks to this advanced ECG analysis technology, doctors will be able to more accurately monitor and adjust therapies, which will translate into improved treatment effectiveness and better health outcomes for patients. Medical facilities using this system will gain a tool that will increase their diagnostic and operational capabilities, enabling faster and more precise diagnosis and reducing operating costs. Additionally, medical device companies and telemedicine service providers will be able to integrate Cardiomatics-CRT into their products and services, expanding their offerings and raising the standard of medical care. As a result, the entire healthcare system will benefit from the introduction of innovative diagnostic technologies, which will contribute to the overall improvement in quality and availability of cardiac care.
