In April we will be talking about the new Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) of the European Commission. The webinar takes place on Thursday, 21 April 2022, 10:00-11:00.

We cordially invite you to attend our monthly “Brussels Talks” webinar, organised by the NCBR Office in Brussels/BSP, with another distinguished guest: Wolfgang Philipp, Acting Director of the new DG Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) from the European Commission.

During the meeting entitled “Is the EU prepared for another health crisis?”, we would like to talk about the new Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority of the European Commission, focusing on its’ main mission, objectives, foreseen tasks and financing. It would be a unique occasion to learn how the EU is preventing and preparing for other possible health emergencies and to further explore the role of research and innovation in development of new medical countermeasures.

The meeting, planned on Thursday 21st April at 10 a.m., will be hosted by Ewa Kocińska-Lange, Director of the NCBR Office in Brussels.
