The webinar takes place on Monday, 23rd May 2022, 13:30-14:30 and is hosted by Ewa Kocińska-Lange, Director of the NCBR Office in Brussels.
The EURATOM Research and Training Programme (2021-2025) is a complementary funding programme to Horizon Europe which covers nuclear research and innovation. It uses the same instruments and rules for participation as Horizon Europe. The budget to implement the new programme is €1.38 billion.
Nuclear energy is believed to be one of the method to overcome the energy crisis Europe is facing due to climate or geopolitical reasons. However it brings new challenges in, including time-constraints, greenness or safety.
