What problem is addressed by the project?
The main goals of this project were to conduct experimental research and development works, as a result of which a prototype of a video game of the first-person shooter (FPS) genre was created, which was finally named "Telefrag VR". The problem that was solved during the project implementation was the development of innovative and non-standard mechanics for controlling and operating UI systems using equipment dedicated to virtual reality (VR goggles). The above was achieved by creating a prototype of a video game containing not only unconventional solutions in the field of control mechanics, but also maintaining the high quality of the artistic and design side of the product. Telefrag VR is a hellishly fast-paced war game, with instinctive controls and mechanics inspired by classic FPS games, but not duplicating the available and standard schemes, allowing you to play the role of a cosmic gladiator, with unconventional solutions enabling the player to move to a world contradicting the existing rules of physics
Who uses the project results?
As part of the project, a prototype was created, on the basis of which skills, techniques, system and technological solutions were developed, allowing for the acquisition of new business contracts and the implementation of the experience gained in the "Telefrag VR" game. The planned effects of the project also include the use of the acquired knowledge by applying the developed solutions in subsequent game productions created by the beneficiary, including the not yet announced new "Mayhem" project as well as the strengthening of Anshar Studios S.A. company on the game producers market. It is also important that the knowledge acquired during the creation of the project is disseminated by the company's representatives at the industry conferences, both domestic and international. The beneficiaries of the project are also players who, thanks to its creation, have at their disposal an interesting game from the genre of first-person shooters with precisely implemented virtual reality.
