What problem is addressed by the project?
As a result of the project implementation, an aircraft engine powered by low-emission fuel, with the emission 5% lower compared to the currently used aircraft engines, was developed. In addition, an innovative JET A1 fuel supply control system was developed, and the combustion process itself has been optimized, which will increase the efficiency and quality of the combustion process. Proper construction of the combustion chamber and optimal combustion times depending on the actual loading conditions of the aircraft will significantly contribute to the reduction of harmful emissions. Therefore, it is assumed that the emission of exhaust gases as well the noise level will be reduced (also achieved thanks to the minimum vibration level of the crankshaft). The developed reciprocating engine will be used in airplanes used for passenger or cargo transport. The developed product is an example of an environmentally friendly solution for the construction of the basic component of an aircraft, which is its engine.
Who uses the project results?
The main recipients of the Świątek Lech Swiątek company products created as part of the project are individual customers, who constitute 50% of recipients, while the remaining customers are companies producing ultralight aircrafts.
