What problem does our project solve?

The fundamentals of the organisation of the WSB and its didactic offer were designed nearly 20 years ago. Since then the University has grown 4-fold, making its STRUCTURE unsuitable for the needs of the University itself, students and employees. WSB needed to be significantly restructured and transformed into a University managed by objectives, with efficiently arranged processes, with a system of continuous improvement implemented: didactics, learning management and administrative service, with the full use of new IT tools in service, communication and the manner of education.

The implementation of the Project contributed to an increase in the quality of functioning of WSB as a modern, effective organisation with continuously improved PRACTICAL EDUCATION and MANAGEMENT processes and a STRUCTURE adapted to the needs of students, employees and the WSB social and economic environment.

Who will benefit from the outcomes of the project?

Students, Didactic and Administrative Employees of WSB,

Persons from outside the academic community interested in acquiring basic knowledge of business and economics,

  • owners of start-ups, micro and small entrepreneurs without business knowledge/education,
  • people who are planning to start an economic activity,
  • people with a limited access to the open offer of the university (small towns and villages).

What was the most challenging aspect of the implementation of the project for us?

The most challenging aspect was the implementation of the project during the pandemic. The lockdown caused significant delays. Internships and study visits abroad could not be completed.
