Issues addressed

Our project solves the problem of assessing and managing the environmental footprint of products. Using the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) method, we help companies accurately determine the environmental impact of their products at every stage, from production to disposal. This allows companies to identify the most harmful processes, take corrective actions and report their progress. Our tools increase the competitiveness of products by meeting the expectations of customers and contractors in terms of sustainable development and compliance with regulations.

Project beneficiaries

The project results will mainly benefit manufacturing companies and their stakeholders. Businesses can accurately assess and reduce their environmental footprint, leading to greater energy efficiency, lower costs and greener image. Consumers will also benefit by receiving more sustainable products. Regulators and certification organizations can use this data to monitor compliance with organic standards. Additionally, non-governmental and research organizations can analyze these results to promote further environmental protection efforts.

Major implementation challenges

One of the challenges was the need to develop advanced analytical tools that enable precise assessment of the environmental impact. An additional challenge was the need to educate and convince companies to implement sustainable practices and meet growing regulatory requirements and consumer expectations.

Our advice to other applicants

Hard work pays off.
