Issues addressed

CThings.co has partnered with SPIN Robotics and the Danish Institute of Technology to combine 5G technology with advanced robotics and artificial intelligence.

The main challenge addressed by our project is the need to increase efficiency and reliability of machines as part of Industry 4.0. In conventional manufacturing systems, machine maintenance is often delayed which leads to unplanned downtimes and production losses.

Our project introduces advanced technology in SPIN Robotics screwdriving cobots, which allows you to constantly monitor the condition of machines and predict their faults.

The use of the 5G technology and AI enables the transmission of data from cobots in real time.

This data is analyzed in the cloud, allowing operators to monitor machine health on an intuitive dashboard. This allows you to quickly identify and solve potential problems before they affect the entire production process. This reduces the risk of downtimes, which translates into lower losses and higher efficiency.

Another problem is safety in the workplace. Thanks to our solution, the new improved SPIN Robotics cobot increases employee safety by minimizing the risk of accidents. This allows employees to work in safer conditions, which also has a positive impact on the overall efficiency of the plant.

This project demonstrates the enormous potential of Industry 4.0. Thanks to data-driven decisions, companies can better manage their resources, leading to more sustainable production. The scalability of our 5G Edge solution makes it easy to implement in various enterprises, regardless of their size and production specifics.

Moreover, the project shows how new technologies can change the face of industry, improving its efficiency, increasing occupational safety and strengthening competitiveness.

Project beneficiaries

The project results benefit many industrial sectors. The combination of advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, edge computing and 5G connectivity opens a new chapter of the industrial revolution, focused on efficiency and sustainability.

Edge computing eliminates delays in uploading information for cloud computing. For the industry this means the ability to respond quickly to changes in the production process and make faster decisions based on real-time data.

What’s more, thanks to the incredible bandwidth and low latency of th 5G technology, this process can be massively scaled, securely connecting thousands of assets across multiple facilities around the world, which translates into lower costs for enterprises and wiser allocation of industrial resources.
