How does the prototype of the tool work?
Trailer of The Mansion game
The Steriosoft tool was used to create the game. The 3d models implemented in the game are scans of rooms in the Bożków Palace (Poland).
What problem is addressed by the project?
STERIOSOFT is a prototype of a programming tool designed to effectively create 3D graphics with the use of stereoscopic photography. The completed project will enable faithful reproduction of the real-world scenery in the virtual world of video games. With the use of the proposed technology, it will be possible to locate games in real places more efficiently and at lower costs. Productions made with the use of this technology will give the impression of moving in the real world, which will increase the emotional experience of players and generate demand for the proposed solution. The decisive advantage of the new method over the indirectly competitive 3D laser scanning technology lies in the possibility of achieving a similar effect with an incomparably lower (up to 40%) costs and shorter production time.
Who uses the project results?
The project has been created for game developers and 3D graphic designers.
