Strong interest in Call 2025 during information days in Switzerland

On 25 and 26 February, information days of the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme were held in Winterthur and Friborg, Switzerland.
The events were organised by the Swiss Innovation Agency - Innosuisse and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR). The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bern and the Polonium Foundation were partners of the events.
Each meeting was attended by several dozen people: scientists, entrepreneurs, innovators from both Poland and Switzerland interested in developing scientific cooperation between these countries.
Agnieszka Ratajczak, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the National Centre for Research and Development, familiarised the participants with the potential of the Polish research and innovation ecosystem and the tasks carried out by the National Centre for Research and Development in this context. During the meetings, the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme was presented in more detail: Call 2024 was summarised and the rules for the next call for proposals (Call 2025) were presented. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions directly about the programme guidelines, project eligibility and consortia.
NCBR is the operator of the Research and Innovation Programme, Applied Research under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, and the Swiss partner of the Programme is Innosuisse. The programme aims to increase the scientific potential and innovation of Polish research units, universities and companies by facilitating cooperation in the field of research and innovation with Swiss partners. Project proposals for the Call 2025 can be submitted online from 25 March to 26 May 2025, 16:00:00 CEST. The budget is nearly 14.8 million Swiss francs, which is over 66 million Polish zlotys.
