What problem is addressed by the project?

The support under the project was addressed to three groups of recipients: children and adolescents, adults and seniors. As part of the project, there were conducted trainings for children and young people, covering the following topics: "Information and communication technologies", "Mathematics and natural sciences workshops" and "The art of creative thinking". In total, 400 hours of training were organized for this group of recipients, attended by 107 people. The trainings for adults were on the following topics: "Outsourcing and offshoring in the context of attracting investors to municipalities", "Programming and servicing of the 3D printing process" and "Remote education - supporting tools". Altogether 451 hours of training were conducted for adults, in which 100 people participated. For seniors, a training "Space around us" was organized. There were 80 hours of workshops for a total of 50 people. For seniors, from the savings generated in the course of the project there were organised workshops summarizing their participation in the project and a one-day trip around Mazovia. The project solves the problem of the lack of targeted support for specific groups of recipients. Since the implementation of the project took place during the pandemic and remote education, a training course "Remote education - supporting tools" was organized for 50 teachers. This action supporting the real training needs of this target group was very much needed. All training topics covered by the project were met with the interest of the groups of recipients to whom they were addressed.

Who uses the project results?

The results of the project are used by the college as the project beneficiary by disseminating information about the college among various groups of recipients. Project participants from each target group gained knowledge in the field of support they were covered by, and they also became better qualified through participation in certified training. An important benefit of participation in the project was the establishment of relations and cooperation between the clubs of seniors from municipalities inhabited by seniors who participated in the activities organized under the project.

What was the greatest challenge during project implementation?

The biggest challenge in the implementation of the project was to attract project participants - children and adolescents in the COVID19 era. Due to the time of the project implementation at the beginning of the pandemic, it turned out to be a huge challenge to organize classes for pupils and students who at that time were involved in educational activities in a remote form. Offering them additional classes in this form turned out to be not a particularly satisfactory solution, as it was overburdening them with this form of support. The organization of classes in a stationary form, whenever possible, turned out to be the optimal solution that allowed for the successful implementation of the project.

Our advice for other applicants

It is not worth giving up, you should try to find a solution for every difficult situation.
