08.02.2024Visit of President Andrzej Duda with his Spouse in Rwanda, February 6-8, 2024.On February 6-8, 2024, President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda paid an official visit to Rwanda, during which, among others, talks took place with President Paul Kagame and the Polish-Rwandan Economic Round Table, as well as visits at the Luna Smelter tinworks and the Center for Blind Children in Kibeho.

18.12.2023Concert of Polish, Tanzanian and Malawian artists during the III edition of the Pamoja Zanzibar FestivalThe III edition of the Pamoja Zanzibar Festival took place on December 8-10, 2023, during which three concerts were organized by Radek Bond Bednarz, this year with the participation of the famous Tanzanian music family Zawose and the Malawian artist NyaGo, with the support of our Embassy.

17.12.2023We continue to support blind and visually impaired children in RwandaThis year, thanks to a Small Grant from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam, the Educational Institute for Blind Children in Kibeho, Rwanda, gained a new, safe space for children and teenagers with visual impairments, intended for games and sports. Such an access to a multi-functional sports ground will help eliminate various barriers that the children face in their everyday life.

10.12.2023New computers for high school students of the Educational Center of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Segerea, TanzaniaStudents of the secondary, vocational and technical schools, as well as employees of the Educational Center of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Segerea are already using computers purchased this year thanks to a project implemented jointly by the Center and the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam and financed by the Polish Aid.

09.12.2023We support the development of entrepreneurship of girls and women from the Usambara Mountains in TanzaniaAs part of one of this year's development projects co-financed by the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam with Polish aid funds, a fruit drying manufacture is being built in the Usambara Mountains in Tanzania. The project supports vocational education for young women and is intended to create favorable conditions for them to acquire knowledge and new skills as well as to stimulate the development of local entrepreneurship by increasing their chances for employment.

06.12.2023We continue to protect the environment and develop entrepreneurship in Kilombero Valley and Udzungwa MountainsAmbassador Krzysztof Buzalski visited the sites of implementation of a development project, under which the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam has been supporting the activities of STEP, an NGO working for the peaceful coexistence of people and elephants in the Kilombero Valley and improving the entrepreneurship of local communities. What is new in this year's project is our support for the authorities of the Udzungwa Mountains National Park.

23.11.2023Our Embassy participated in the European Film Festival in TanzaniaAs part of the European Film Festival, which joined forces with the Zanzibar International Film Festival, screenings of movies from 10 European countries, including Poland and Ukraine, took place from November 3 to 23, 2023.

11.11.2023We celebrated our Independence Day in TanzaniaDuring the gala reception on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of regaining independence, organized in the gardens of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam, Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski presented the "Women of Independence" exhibition, and an international band of missionaries sang Polish songs. There were also traditional dishes prepared by us.

01.11.2023On All Saints' Day, Embassy representatives visited the Kinondoni cemetery in Dar es SalaamOn November 1, 2023, Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski and consuls laid flowers on Polish graves at the Kinondoni cemetery in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Our Embassy takes care of 6 cemeteries with the graves of civilians accompanying Anders' Army who arrived in Tanganyika in 1942.
