On 31 January 2024, as part of the Danish Royal Couple's visit to Poland, a symposium on 'Environmentally friendly agriculture and biogas - transition towards CO2-neutral food production' was held. It was accompanied by the ceremony of signing a letter of intent between the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARMA) and the Danish Agricultural Agency (DAA).
On the part of ARMA, the letter of intent was signed by President Wojciech Legawiec and signed on behalf of the DAA by General Director, Lars Gregersen. The event was also attended by the Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Czesław Siekierski and the Danish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Jacob Jensen.
The purpose of signing this important document is to deepen cooperation between Poland and Denmark on activities to promote and develop environmentally friendly agriculture within the framework of the European Union's new climate architecture.
